We are on the cusp of a dying New Moon and Partial Solar Eclipse! On Sept 21st, the New Moon Virgo will be at 29°. This degree has a crisis orientation in addition to the crisis energies that Virgo already holds. The Partial Solar Eclipse will also intensify these Virgoan energies.
The New Moon represents new beginnings where we can restart and initiate new intentions for the month ahead. But this New-Moon-Virgo-Eclipse is unique too in that it contains an entry point that’s either fated or destined. Regardless, it is a new chapter worldwide for everyone including the Earth, and eclipses are known to reveal the fate of Nations. What’s also super special about this New-Moon-Virgo-Eclipse is that the eclipse will last a long time — 6mins approx — where skies will darken, nature quiets and winds shift. You may even feel an emotional shift within. Interestingly, as the Moon partially covers the Sun in its path, a crescent shape of the Virgo Sun exposed will remain visible, perhaps an indication of powerful and intense manifestations that can emerge as early as a week ahead rather than ripple weeks, months or even years later.
The world is certainly in a place of crisis in just about every context and concept and doesn’t feel secure and is full of self-doubt and criticisms. There’s a lot of anxiety and restlessness about the future and this 29° is reflective in Sabian Symbol Virgo 30°, which is quite fitting.
Virgo is the 6th house in the Zodiac and known as the House of Mars as well and where Mars thrives in this energy having the capability to work hard, overcome obstacles, pay attention to details, provide service to others, is disciplined and has razor sharp focus. The Virgo/6th house is known for the military too, but also health and healing.
Being a New-Moon-Eclipse in Virgo, the state of the world right now reflects a chessboard becoming further strategically aligned with seeds for a great war, yet I believe seeds were planted long ago, when Uranus Aries 0° (Uranus = initiate change, rebellion, fight for freedom and civil rights, etc.) and Pluto Capricorn 3° (Capricorn = status, institutions, corporations, govts, etc.) faced 7 squares with each other (square energy = friction, change, difficulties, actional, etc.) between 2011-2015, partly triggering where we are now, and which is part of an even prior Pluto-Uranus Virgo conjunction cycle back in 1965-1966 during a time of extreme rebellion, counterculture, civil rights movements, and freedom of speech, including the peace symbol quite prominent back then, which originally represented nuclear disarmament. The Pluto Virgo generation were also being born during this time and in evolution there is always an overlapping of energies as Nature moves in cycles.
New-Moon-Virgo-Eclipse will also conjunct Mercury Libra in a grand trine with Pluto Aquarius and Uranus Gemini. All of these planets are forming a Kite configuration with Neptune Aries Rx and Saturn Pisces Rx at the apex in a crucial waxing sextile representing opportunity and new chapters to come. But with Mercury Libra at the tail end of the Kite, free speech, communication, the media and the right to be heard are under attack right now. Kites are significant in that they contain challenges, yet through creativity and constructive action, great breakthroughs can result. With Mars still in Libra at 29°, there’s an urgency to push through difficult relations and balance them out and get along and harmonize unions. Libra is a strong mediator and negotiator, so such opportunity is still there for resolution.
Regardless, this New-Moon-Virgo-Eclipse and Kite are big game changers. With the Eclipse just under 24hrs away from the Fall Equinox, this also signifies a reset of some sort that has the potential of purification and healing of collective psychic wounding to come. It’s important to discern and discriminate the things that belong to us from things that do not, and to stress clarity in all communications.
