New Moon Sagittarius!…

Cheers to the New Moon Sagittarius today at 28 degs as it gallops and aims its arrow high towards new beginnings with its utmost urgency. This is the last New Moon of the year with the potential to expand horizons and see the bigger picture. New opportunities flow in creating new belief systems and finding higher meaning and purpose in the world. Venus Sagittarius is also conjunct this New Moon offering an opportunity to initiate new sets of self-values and self-worth through one’s resources which can grow self-reliance and self-sufficiency. New relationships may also sprout with passion and a desire for adventure. The challenges that lay ahead though in exploring such new territories are the New Moon’s square to Neptune-Saturn Pisces where there may be a “crisis in consciousness” in pursuing such higher realities and structures. But this square also provides ample awareness, determination, faith and focus to push forward and initiate any new set intention. The New Moon Sagittarius’ ruler, Jupiter Cancer, fosters a sense of belonging and togetherness, especially between close friends and tightknit families. Jupiter is also exalted in the sign Cancer expressing its highest potential there, in particular with maternal/familial bonds where instinct and intuition can run even deeper. There’s likely a more profound sense of “knowing” through the emotional body when it comes to loved ones. Jupiter Cancer also trines Neptune-Saturn Pisces and Jupiter being the ruling planet for Pisces in ancient astrology (another water sign involved in the square to New Moon Sagittarius) helps to soften the square aspect creating ease and flow the next few days. Jupiter Cancer also brings comfort and joy this time of year in addition to deep emotional bonds that can provide healing, nurturing and growth. This is a great time where the impulse for “emotional understanding” as well as “emotional intelligence” can grow resulting in deeper inner security and feelings of safety within close-knit friends and families, as well as the homeland. Peace and Love to everyone.
