Jo-Anne Borlase
Jo-Anne Borlase was the 1990 Canadian Ice Dance Champion with her partner, Martin Smith and placed 7th at the 1990 World Figure Skating Championships. Shortly thereafter, she retired from amateur sport and obtained her Level 2 NCCP certification. She has been coaching since 2001 with a desire to help skaters achieve their goals and to have fun. Writing has been one of her lifelong passions and in 2015, she achieved her Creative Writing Certificate from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. When not writing and teaching figure skating, she studies Astrology and Spirituality. Jo-Anne lives in Toronto, Ontario.
