A big powerful transit is coming in the next few days in the sign Leo — a Total Solar (Sun) Eclipse and New Moon Leo on August 12th, as well as the partnering planets of Mercury balsamic to Jupiter Leo opposite Pluto Aquarius. The SN (SN the Past) Leo will also be stationary — ‘stationary’ meaning an intense energetic magnification at 29° (anorectic & fate degree) conjunct the Fixed Star Regulus aka the “Lion’s Heart” or “little king”, and one of the Four Royal Stars of the Persians in 3000BC, aka the Four Guardians of Heavens that have also represented the Four Horsemen known to have brought apocalyptic events. What’s at stake here?… A lot of fire, dynamism, heart on one’s sleeve, and blazing intensity as well as creative potential in a Soul’s purpose.
Eclipses are known to bring great changes globally that can ripple their energies and influences into the months and even years ahead. This energy begins about a week prior (now) and maximizes on the day of Eclipse — Aug 12th.
Though Eclipses happen regularly, including always occur in pairs with another one on the way — a Partial Lunar Eclipse on August 27th in Pisces — this coming Solar Leo one is quite influential, especially in the charts of certain present leaders right now…perhaps they all knew each other in some other time and place at exactly this sort of moment in time?….yikes….
The SN is also about to go Direct for approx. 6 days forward taking us back in time to past karmic patterns of prior kings, rulers, and leaders who had a lot of pride, high prominence, power and authority, and who needed to move away from their ‘ego-driven dominance’ and ‘self-serving vendettas’ towards humility. We can see humility in the opposite node being the North Node Aquarius in its offerings to groups/tribes/community, essentially ‘others’ than oneself, and Aquarius represents humanitarian principles, the rebel, the Awakener, the liberator, individuation, and accelerates things too, etc.
When the Fixed Star Regulus energy is stuck in the lesser attributes and used as revenge and tit-for-tat, a great fall was the outcome in the Past. Regulus as well as total Solar Eclipses have been linked to the ruin of leaders, great political changes and upheavals, and violent wars and conflicts. Could there be something ‘unexpected’ revealed globally soon, reflecting some big change in these leaders or what they are doing to the world(?)….
On a lighter note, this energy also brings opportunity to initiate a creative ‘Soul purpose’ and push forward one’s individuation, such as presenting a new project you’ve been working on to your community/tribe/peers and shared for everyone’s benefit, or more personally to meditate on self-at-centre energy rather than something self-centered. Leo can sometimes make you feel like you’re not special, like no one recognizes or loves you making you feel like you have some big black hole, or an abysmal void deep inside and falling star syndrome. But the question is, Do you hear and accept yourself enough?…Give yourself enough self-love and credit for who you are?… Try to fill your own void and desires through seeing your own ‘inner specialness’ and ‘inner solar power’ rather than reaching outward to others for it, such as on a detached social media stage where you may not get noticed much and cannot receive you the love you crave and desire… Inward love, acceptance, and appreciation are always far more fulfilling and nurturing than external influences that just don’t water the plants roots enough.
